'Aish', Aishwarya , 'Ainak' And Laptop Nannies

'Aish', Aishwarya , 'Ainak' And Laptop Nannies

First of all I must plead sorry to my readers for offending their sentiments and not actually being here except  for advertising about my novels and books. SORRY! But now I promise I'll be here quite often with my ideas and 'say'.

Now to begin with....in fact I do not know from where to begin with.. as so much has literally happened in the past one year in which I had absconded. Many people requested me to be back but I became a little selfish and kept myself to my books and their promotion and my first 'love' suffered'...Sorry my first and true love... really sorry.

Recently a  joke traveled on my 'bbm' . Just wanted to share. "Previously every man wanted his wife to be like Aishwarya but now Aishwarya has become like every man's wife". Now I do not understand why people take so much dig if any actress blows out of proportion. Isn't she a human? What do we expect them to be? I feel there are more important things to talk about rather to talk about Lara Datta's, Shilpa Shetty's Ashwarya's babies.. and Aishwarya's post pregnancy weight but if  all these do  bring zest to your drooling unhappy lives..well then you can go on as I do not want to curtail anyone's share of happiness...

We can perhaps talk about so many plane crashes  taking around the Universe. But  IPL and Shahrukh's misbehaviour , Zohal's boyfriend's Sahil's brawl with Australian Cricketer   Luke Pomersbach making her overnight celebrity and then out of court settlement actually are not letting us to do what we want! http://www.mid-day.com/sports/2012/may/240512-IPL-molestation-case-Charges-against-Pomersbach-dropped.htm

The e media has slyly and stealthily drugged our minds we can't even think properly about the recent petrol hike.  Then so many DOT officers sitting idle in their homes as they did not opt for BSNL as directed by Honble Minister Kapil Sibal. At least over 500 Indian Telecom Officers are sitting idle and the Minister is busy sorting out 'Cartoon' problem in Parliament! Sometimes I feel Shankar should have made a cartoon on this issue too- how he had to clarify about a cartoon made by him almost 30 years back.http://lawandotherthings.blogspot.in/2012/05/parliament-and-shankars-ambedkar-nehru.html

Or maybe just as TOI has quoted about Delhi Councillors that they do not only want Laptops but Operators too as most of them do not know how to operate Computers! Laptop Nannies is what TOI says they want!  http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/Delhi-councillors-want-laptop-nannies/articleshow/13537817.cms

" It will, of course, mean that apart from the cost of the laptops, the MCD will have to shell out an additional Rs 13.60 lakh a month as compensation for the "computer helps", each pocketing Rs 5,000 as salary." TOI says!!

Oh But why do we forget  the line"Bharat Bhagya Vidhata" in our National Anthem and I think our Politicians have taken only this one line very seriously..and are following it with grit and determination. They can nail even a  coffin  for their own benefit. I wonder how Bapu would have reacted if he was alive to witness the scene of the Parliament???

There are so many more things which I want to mention but do not want to make the post boring. A lively post is welcomed. But before I depart,  I salute to Amir Khan's 'Satmayev Jayate'. Really appreciate this man. All kudos for coming up with topics which till date could not be discussed in households and if I ever took courage to write about non penetrative sex and 12 yrs being allowed for it is wrong or rape by the U.S. Army in Iraq  on my blog, Mr Minister had got it banned very conveniently. As 'they' have the POWER and 'nasha yaaro of power' is unmatched!! It is the 'sabse nasheela nasha'! The big exclamation marks on many of my posts are a proof of it. They went so far that even the exclamation mark was put on the National Flag..

And as Aishwarya Rai  said at Cannes "Haters are a drop in the ocean of love". I BELIEVE IN IT:)

Now I am putting on my 'Ainak' ( for a clearer vision of everything) and going for a walk but if only the hounds let me to take- the 'goondas' and 'the stray dogs' I will read 'Hanuman Chalisa' before going out for any kind of 'Health Aish'.

Book Review of “The Fallen Love” by Rashmi Singh by SONIA SAFRI

The Fallen Love
By Rashmi Singh

The word love has such a mixed connotation. And bringing its nuances is Rashmi Singh’s latest fictional novel- The Fallen Love.
It spans the love that the main protagonist Rohan feels – for his mom, his first crush Shilpi, then Radhika and towards the end Madhuri. His fate makes him experience the pain of losing people he loves the most, or so he feels. So when it comes to Madhuri, Rohan pledges to strive for it and make it last…forever.
The story moves back-n-forth in time detailing Rohan’s present affluent status and his highly underprivileged background, during his growing up years. The dramatic and horrendous circumstances that bestow misery and grief are well highlighted by the author. And so are the sensually arousing love scenes, described quite finely without a hint of sleaze and disgust.
Life isn’t as simple as we want it. And it shouldn’t be. Without trying moments of misery and depression how are we to enjoy the happiness and joy of success and prosperity and love, of course!
The story shows many facets of the human nature- greed, friendship, relationships, compassion, benevolence…all tied by the thread of love.
I would suggest you pick it up and give it a read. The story has twists that will make you sit up and take note of the adversities Rohan faces and the trials he undergoes and how he realizes that love doesn’t come easy- and that giving up is not the way to go. Fighting for the one you love shows courage and real strength and dedication.
The author has put in a new perspective. The story shows growth for the author and her writing skills. The language used in this one shows a bold face of the modern contemporary youth. It makes you ponder on a lot many aspects, only to then realize – it is all but a story.
An enjoyable read.

LOVE IN FULL FORCE:THE FALLEN LOVE!

“Rohan,” It seemed to Rohan that Radhika had called him. But the boulder had finally started moving like a cunning, stealthy treacherous enemy, hitting Rohan who came in its way, rolling down the valley and after that the car. Suddenly from nowhere four-five men came and dragged him back, heartlessly….Everything was happening right there in front of him, everything and a helpless Rohan, in clutches of unknown men, was made to watch the car along with Radhika, dive deep into the dangerous valley of death. Everything finished before his eyes….once again he lost to life…once again fate won for the worst and he lost….. Rohan fell unconscious and limp in the arms of the men holding him tight…..
With one hand Rohan had closed her mouth and with the other he twisted her both arms, bringing it to her back murderously. Rita tried her best to press the Emergency bell with her legs but Rohan was quick in apprehending her motives and pulled her back towards to the other side of the room. The needle of his right hand was displaced making blood to rush out heedlessly.
“Now you tell me, if you want yourself to be alive....

THE MOST GRIPPING STORY OF 2012! THE FALLEN LOVE

THE FALLEN LOVE EXTRACT:
“And what admirers, by God Shilpi—must say you have some taste!” He turned around and suddenly snatched the gift which Rohan had, with great pain, insult, and neglecting his parents collected. Vishal was fine specimen of a ‘bully’ with muscles ripping out of his funky t-shirt. “Shilpi you really have a true, devoted follower!” he laughed loudly making fun of the teenager and ruthlessly crushing the red rose, every petal of which was sequined with love and dreams of the young poor boy, who had especially bought it for his dream angel.
Seeing his symbol of love being mutilated in front of his eyes, the dormant lover burst up like a violent volcano, its molten lava creating havoc, inviting destruction and rampage. “You Bastard, how dare you…how dare you crush my rose…how dare you? How can you, you motherfucker. I am not going to leave you.” The lover was panting wildly, eyes blood red, saliva dripping from his mouth. The other boy not prepared for such a move, slipped and fell on the sandy wet ground. There had been rainfall the previous night and the soil was still damp and grumpy.

BOOK REVIEW OF LOVE'S JOURNEY BY SHREYA

Book Review: Love's Journey

Author: Rashmi Singh

Format:Paperback

Language: English

Pages:
 224

Price:
 150

Publishers: Pustak Mahal

ISBN Number: 8122312012 ISBN-13: 9788122312010 , 978-8122312010

About The Book:

Several of the Sidney Sheldon’s books keep mentioning of the same thing- the woman being exploited in her quest for love and in turn she learns how to manipulate the probable baits to achieve her means. The name of the lead character Jennifer Sebastian reminds me of woman depicted in novels and on the big screen-she is nevertheless a mixture of all of them- adorned with skin deep beauty and acts as pawn in the cosmic chess board of the glittering stage life. Is it true- to achieve the taste of the icing on the pinnacle of success you need to sell every bit of your flesh- Jennifer’s voice perhaps demands the answer as revealed from in between the pages of Rashmi Singh’s  Love’s Journey.

Our commercial Bollywood life keeps getting documented in one way or the other. Some of us dare to reveal what lies beneath the cover, some follow the trend of Shashi Tharoor’s “Show business”, and some speak of the underbelly rumblings behind every stage show seen through a murky bioscope. Trails of a girl’s life and the tragedies that make her mouth endless slangs are never born on a single day. Jennifer’s unforgiving fate constantly drives her from one post to the other. And even the zenith ends up being bitter sweet. Convincing in parts, there still lingers an unnecessary stress of helplessness on characters at times. Perhaps the setting itself would make out as a lead character- the Bollywood world so as to say- pulling the threads and throwing sadistic smile each time it finds the protagonist cornered.
The only philosophic link would be recalling God as the savior, yet it is the same God who pens down destinies in his log book. Greed triumphs over hunger, hunger getting segregated into physical need, and getting tossed among potential male interests like Deepak , Shantanu Arora Jay Kumar and even Shambhu Vasan. I felt I was getting to see images of all those known faces from the posters – just that each one of them were carrying the pseudonym of Jennifer.
Rashmi Singh has this unique ability to keep poking at the closed walls of the human mind- commonly guarded by the word called “civility”. Her pattern of narration is perhaps directed at throwing thought provoking queries about “where is that thin line between the utopian belief and the murky existence?” She succeeds at jostling me with her wordplay-the rest remains at the hands of the readers’ to judge.

The-ways-of-seeing-challenging-the-stereotypes-of-masculinity-study-of-the-female-novelists-in-india by Varsha Singh

All these novelists are recognized as intellectuals, portraying feminine sensibility and female agony present in our society; and they have been highly felicitous in their endeavours . But the way in which the characters of their novels are looked upon, is the patriarchal gaze. In their novels, the male characters are portrayed as the most powerful, dominating and completely autonomous one; whereas the female characters are portrayed as, the meek, submissive, dominant and weak, seized under the clutch of male subjugation.
Contradicting this situation, the novelists such as, Shobha De, Varsha Dixit, Sujata Parashar, Advaita Kala, Rashmi Singh, Ruchita Misra are on the pathway of reverting the ways of seeing and challenging the stereotypes of masculinity.
